Vattenfall is Europe’s fifth largest electricity generator and the largest producer of heat and operates in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, the Benelux and the UK. Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a road map to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Business Division Renewables is responsible for wind power and biomass. Investments in wind power is an important cornerstone to deliver our road map and we plan, build and own wind farms in six countries, onshore and offshore. Investment in biomass fuel is key to further reduce the emissions. We have about 300 employees.
We are looking for a Document Manager for our Business Unit Offshore Wind Projects. The position is located in Hamburg and limited to two years.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure completeness and keep order of documents arising from contract realization
- Ensure execution of document related tasks
- Ensure tracking opportunities (e.g. documentation and storage standards)
- Store documents from contractual partners as well as hand back of documents if applicable
- Check incoming documents formally and related information for plausibility
- Distribute documents for internal processing
- Track status of assigned document related tasks
- Update and control of meta data
- Assist contractual partners with document handling concerns
Your Profile
- Engineering degree, technical apprenticeship with good commercial knowledge or commercial ap-prenticeship with good technical knowledge
- First professional experience
- Very good MS Excel skills
- Fluent English language skills
- At least intermediate German language skills and willingness to expand them
- Knowledge about document handling processes in construction projects
- Good skills in document management systems, Livelink knowledge appreciated
- Independent and reliable
- Teamplayer with good organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
